Vi-Lux Building Products Inc. just expanded its extrusion capacity by 15 percent — and while work crews were inside the Napanee, Ontario, factory, they set the stage for the business to grow again.
Additional infrastructure was installed for the Napanee-based manufacturer of cellular PVC products to increase extrusion capacity by another 15 percent later this year.
Vi-Lux is bringing a slew of new virgin PVC products to market, including 16 new profiles for the window and door industry. The full Vi-Lux line also consists of interior and exterior moldings, door and shutter components, trim boards, columns and soffits.
Cellular PVC continues to be a popular alternative to wood in many building applications. In the last several years, extrusion capacity at Vi-Lux has increased by 60 percent, according to a company news release. | |
